The fourth tape in the five tape series contains songs mostly about love and human conditions. Trịnh Công Sơn grouped his songs into three categories: country (quê hương), love (tình yêu) and human conditions (thân phận). This tape includes the longest song by Trịnh Công Sơn: "Đóa Hoa Vô Thường" (the flower of impermanence) which reflects the key thoughts of Buddhism.
