Trịnh Công Sơn music is very popular in Japan. Many of his song were translated into Japanese. Perhaps the most well known song, Diễm Xưa, known in Japan as Utsukushii Mushaki, was introduced to the Japanese audience by Khánh Ly at the World Fair in Osaka in 1970. Its popularity was further enhanced by the famous Japanese singer, Tendo Yoshimi. All the songs on this page are sung in Japanese.
